At the heart of Naturopathy is the individual selection and preparation of food to support our unique healing requirements. It seeks to create an optimal environment and improve our general underlying health rather than the management of symptoms in isolation.
I predominantly support clients through Naturopathic Nutrition, however, I use some additional tools that are detailed here.
I do not diagnose or treat.

Ayurveda is an ancient system of healing. It is the oldest known medical system. Historical evidence shows that Ayurveda has influenced almost all medical systems in the world.
Through my Naturopathy training I have studied Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Tibetan Medicine, and Unani-Tibb (Greek and Persian Medicine).
I typically integrate Ayurveda into my Nutritional Therapy practice and Chinese Medicine into my Systematic Kinesiology® practice. However, this may vary based on the individual need and / or desire of my client.

Homeopathy is based on two principles that have occurred regularly throughout the history of medicine.
The first principle of 'like cures like' can be looked at in several ways. Our body knows what it is doing and symptoms are the body's way of taking action to overcome an illness. This healing response is automatic in living organisms.
The second principle, that only 'the minimum dose' should be employed is based upon the understanding that the stimulus of the medicine works from within the vitality
Homotoxicology is a blend of Naturopathy, Homeopathy and modern medicine.
The foundation of Homotoxicology is that the body is trying to maintain homeostasis, with inflammation being a sign that the body needs support.

Iridology does not diagnose specific conditions, however, it can provide insight into imbalances in organs and systems.
It is a great tool for Naturopaths and Nutritional Therapists to identify which areas of the body require support and which nutrients may be required.
I am increasingly including a brief review of the iris during my consultations and to complement my Systematic Kinesiology® practice.

Herbal Medicine has a long history across cultures and is often considered a part of Traditional Medicine. It is a wonderful approach to health and wellbeing for many people.
Some simple herbal remedies may be included in our work together.

Hydrotherapy was the treatment of choice for centuries. Cold water swimming has been found to be very beneficial for depression.
Traditional Hydrotherapy techniques help to build immunity, improve circulation, improve the quality of blood and lymph, and balance the autonomic nervous system.
I include basic Hydrotherapy recommendations in my practice, if relevant.
